4 games and a few old friends

This week we welcome our old friends from north of the county, Letchworth, who
have been riding high this season, with a 100% record prior to the narrow defeat to
Old Northhamptonians last week, when they still managed to secure two bonus
points.

With them, we welcome some faces very familiar to Hoe |Lane, in the shape of
messrs. Baz, Streets, Parkhouse, Johal and Mongston.

There are several changes to the Hertford lineup this week as a result of injuries to
Davies, Corcoran and Hewitt.

This opens up opportunities for two more debutantes this week, who will have the
chance to make an impression from the bench.

James Bovaird has a proud a Scottish surname familiar to many supporters of a
certain age who will recall his father Alistair and Grandfather Ramsey being a
prominent Hertford RFC men stretching back half a century.

Sam Little also makes the debut. Sam has moved into the area having featured for
Westcliff in recent seasons.

The team sees the return of the center partnership of Rudling and Gilchrist and the
innovative inclusion of Kay on the wing after his impressive display there last week.

The second team have their first home game off the season where they will host
Harlow 2nd 1XV after a big win last week. Many of these lads are chomping at the bit for
1st XV opportunities, making selection decisions for the coaches incredibly difficult, as
it should be.

Our third home game this weekend features the 3rd XV, who will be taking on
Letchworth second team.

These two games will be kicking off At 2:15 and 2:30 and the boys would really appreciate
some support.

It's really great to see that we will have four teams out this weekend and the Termites
will travel to Datchworth to take on their 2nd XV.

The run into Christmas features no easy fixtures and the support from the sidelines
can make a big difference so let's wrap up warm and exercise those are vocal cords
as the 16th man.
