Our 1st XV put in an excellent performance last weekend, beating Shelford at Hoe Lane 33-5! This week they will travel to Harpenden for a 3pm kick off in their last game before Christmas, come on Hertford!

It’s the weekend before Christmas which means Saturday night is carols night at the club. The carols will begin at 7:30pm, the club will be very busy so we suggest getting there early for a warm up drink! Entry will be £2 per adult and can be paid on arrival.

Before this fantastic annual event we have another tradition taking place with the Unders v Overs game kicking off at 3pm on the main pitch. This game is a charity match, which will be raising money for Isabel Hospice and in memory of Ade Foxall.

Ade was a well loved member of our club, who was instrumental in coaching the youth sections at the club for over ten years. His last months were spent in the care and support of the Isabel Hospice in Welwyn, before he very sadly passed away in August. The funds raised from this match will help this amazing charity continue to deliver the outstanding care they showed Ade and his family. He is greatly missed by so many at the club, and this game is a wonderful way to remember him!
