Hertford Rugby Minis Tour 2018 – Great Yarmouth

Friday 4th to Sunday 7th May (Mayday Bank Holiday)

I am pleased to announce that the rugby festival at Great Yarmouth next May has been chosen as our tour venue next year. The festival has been running for six years and last season attracted 116 teams with Hertford touring there a number of seasons ago with good feedback received. The organisers Sports Tours, have been organising rugby tours and festivals for nearly 30 years (established in 1989) and they are members of ABTA and hold an ATOL (Air Tour Operators Licence).

Great Yarmouth Rugby Festival

This is now a huge event and attracts well over 100 teams each year. Teams aged under 7 to 12 years play at Great Yarmouth-Broadlands RUFC which has available up to 20 mini and youth rugby pitches. This is a friendly club which really does make everyone feel welcome and has a good clubhouse with licensed bar, changing rooms, additional marquees & toilets. Our accommodation is 6 miles away so just a 10 minute coach journey away.

Breydon Water Holiday Park:

Breydon Water Holiday Park Situated just four miles from the bright lights of Great Yarmouth Promenade. The park has a heated outdoor pool, all weather sports court and adventure playground and please check out the website www.park-resorts.com for further information about the activities and accommodation available.

With the likely numbers that the club will be taking we will effectively be taking over the whole park.

Tour clothing:

We have received two substantial sponsorships to fund this year’s hoodies with special thanks to Clyde & Co the law firm. We will be contacting everyone to participate in sponsoring the playing tops shortly.

Dinner on Friday evening
Breakfast on Saturday morning
