For those of you who haven’t experienced it first hand, what is the best way to describe this team? Well, it is just another rugby team! It is not a disability team, players are not classified by physical, intellectual or mental disabilities or barriers. It is a team open to anyone who wants to play regular full contact rugby… for rugby’s sake. If you happen to have some form of disability or barrier but want to play regular rugby, then you are more than welcome. The same goes if you have no disability or barrier.
Come along each Wednesday at 5.30pm-6.30pm for FUN non contact Tag rugby training at Hoe Lane. Ages 16+ and all abilities welcome.
As well as training each week we take part in touch rugby festivals lead by Saracens, Premiership Rugby, and Project Rugby supported by www.saracenssportfoundation.org,
alongside other mixed ability teams across Herts and North London.
For any questions or further information contact coaches Matt Thompson Michael Francis We also have 5 other coaches who play and have played for Hertford, showing the support for this community team from within the club.
